The campaign began with an event at Japanese Park in Rohini, Delhi. Kejriwal spoke at the event. Asked devotees to take a vow. They should not stay silent until those responsible for the theft are punished. Volunteers will go door-to-door collecting signatures on a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Kejriwal says the central government is shielding those involved in the donation theft. He says the Prime Minister should ensure punishment. Instead, the government seems to be protecting the accused. Kejriwal also alleges a land scam connected to the temple trust. He claims Rs 2 crore in land was bought for Rs 18 crore.
He also referenced the Special Investigation Team’s findings in the donation theft matter itself, claiming that around 70 separate incidents of theft had been caught on CCTV footage over a 40-day period, while alleging that eight months’ worth of earlier CCTV recordings had been deleted, a claim he used to question the thoroughness of the broader investigative process.

Kejriwals remarks have a political tone. He suggests the governments reluctance to investigate is due to the involvement of ruling party members.
