Veena, daughter of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday in connection with an ongoing money laundering investigation linked to financial transactions between her former IT company, Exalogic Solutions, and Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL).
According to reports, Veena reached the ED office in Kochi after receiving a fresh summons from the central agency. She had earlier sought an extension of time to appear before investigators, citing health-related reasons.
